Dr. Linda Petter is a Family Practice physician, with over 12 years of clinical experience, and a published author (two books: Healthcare On a Budget, and Common Medical Sense, as well as articles for several medical journals).

She has appeared on the ABC affiliate KOMO 4 TV (Seattle) with news anchors Kathi Goertzen discussing her first book, Common Medical Sense, while jointly presenting a health segment. Most recently, she was interviewed by news anchor Mary Nam, introducing her new book, Healthcare On a Budget. Dr. Petter has also been interviewed on the radio coast-to-coast over 300 times to date, including Canada. She is a weekly feature on KOMO News Radio.

She completed her residency training at the Mayo Clinic and the University of Illinois, Carle Hospital. Currently, she is Chief of the Department of Family Practice at St. Francis Hospital in Federal Way Washington.
